Melanie Marr has been a valued member of the WeGo Community Theatre production team, serving as Music Director for our youth and family productions.

 

With a B.A. in Music Performance in both piano and voice, Melanie brings extensive experience in musical theatre, music education, and vocal performance.

Throughout her career, Melanie has worked with school, community, and professional music programs, helping performers of all ages develop their musical talents and confidence on stage. Her background includes serving as an accompanist and vocal coach at Aurora University and Elmhurst College, as well as working with organizations such as Show Choir Camps of America and the Chicago Children's Chorus.

Melanie is passionate about creating positive and engaging musical experiences for young performers and is dedicated to helping every cast member grow both musically and personally throughout the production process.
